The Point Defense or Point Defense System is a structure accessible after a Research Facility is build. It protects an area from enemy Rail Gun shots (from Orbital Bomb especially).
The protection mechanism consists of Defense Disc used to deflect a shot. Each time a shot is deflected, a Defense Disc is used, reducind the number of shots the Point Defense can deflect. A Point Defense starts with 3 Defense Disc when built. One can create more Defense disc on a specific Point Defense by creating one or more Disc Protectors, for 500 MetaJoules.
