Defense Relay is a type of structure used to extend the green defense grid created by Matter converter or by Outpost. Green defense grid grants a 30% bonus in kinetic-based and energy-based defense to all structure and units inside.
If a Defense Relay is build too far from the green area of the defense grid, the area covered by the Defense Relay will be displayed as a yellow defense grid, which has no defense bonus.
