A Rimtech Combot being assembled at the Assembly bay
The Assembly Bay is an essential structure in Metal Fatigue. This is where Combot are assembled from parts produced at the Parts Factory. The assembled Combot can then be launched with a Combot Crew trained at the Cryo Farm.
Trivia[]
- When selected, the Assembly Bay menu will display available Combot Parts that are already produced, as well as parts being currently produced, but they will be greyed out and won't be avalaible for assembly until they are finished at the Parts Factory.
- An already launched Combot can come back to an Assembly Bay to be repaired, or to have his parts exchanged for others.
- The Combot Crew inside the Combot currently being deployed can be changed by clicking on the Crew Name in the Assembly Bay menu.
- Old parts not needed anymore can be selled at the Assembly Bay.
- Hover Truck can bring parts found on the battle field into the Assembly Bay. These parts can be used directly to assemble a Combot. Moreover, enemy parts can then be produced at the parts Factory after a research is made at the Research Facility.
- When an Assembly Bay is destroyed, Combot Crews that were inside are released, and therefore can be killed.
